Valentine's is the season of love, and MWR wants to know what you love the most about USAG Hawaii. Seize the moment and declare your love with a photo of your favorite place or thing to do on post. 

All you have to do is share an original photo of your favorite place on USAG Hawaii while showing heart shaped hands in the photo.

Go to Hawaii MWR Facebook Page, find the 02 February 2021 post (goes live on 02 February at 10 a.m. and ends on 14 February at 5 p.m. HST). Photos must display the making of a “heart shape” with your hands in front of your favorite location or thing to do on USAG Hawaii in the comment section below the post.

Let’s see who likes/loves your post! The three top photos, following all contest rules, with the most likes will win a Family & MWR prize! Only one entry per household allowed.

The promotion is open only to USAG Hawaii Active Duty Soldiers and Family Members who are 18 years of age and older (see complete contest rules).
Don't forget to encourage your friends and family to "like/ love" your photo.
 
Prizes (Expire on 31 August, 2021) 
1st Place: 50% off One Night Stay at Pililaau Army Recreation Center
(Available Monday to Thursday. Cannot be used on Holidays. Cabin size will be based on availability but will not exceed a standard 2 bedrooms.)

2nd Place: Weekend two-person Kayak Rental from Outdoor Recreation Center
(Can be used at both Fort Shafter & Schofield Barracks Outdoor Recreation Centers. Check out on Saturday and return on Tuesday.)

3rd Place: One Hour of Bowling (for up to five people) at any MWR Bowling Centers (A choice of Schofield Bowling Center, Fort Shafter Bowling Center or The Hangar Entertainment Center).
(Shoe rental is not included. Cannot be combined with any other specials or promotions.)

Show Your Love For USAG Hawaii Photo Contest
 

Basic Rules

  • Participants will post a photo of themselves making a “heart shape” with their hands in front of their favorite location on post in the comment section of MWR Hawaii’s Facebook page.

  • Participants submit their favorite photo taken on any of the 22 USAG Hawaii Army installations and sub-installations located throughout the islands of Oahu and Hawaii.

  • One entry per person/family.

  • Submissions will be taken between 02 Feb, 10 a.m. to 14 Feb, 5 p.m.

  • No submissions or likes/loves will be counted after 14 Feb, 5 p.m. HST.  

  • Winners will be determined by total amount of “likes/love” on photo submissions. Likes/loves must be on MWR Hawaii’s Facebook page post but not on any shared posts. 

  • Winners will be notified via Facebook Messenger through Hawaii MWR. 

  • Winners must be verified as stationed with USAG Hawaii, and must bring military ID to pick up the prize. Winners must pickup the prize no later than 23 Feb, 4:00 p.m. or prize will be forfeited.

  • Prizes are not transferable and will be picked up at DFMWR Headquarter’ s Front Desk at 350 Eastman Rd, WAAF, Schofield Barracks, Hawaii, 96857. 

 

Official Rules

  • For valid entry, contestants must be capable of providing a photo to the USAG Hawaii Facebook page. To be eligible for prize, contestants must provide proof that they are assigned to USAG Hawaii (present orders at time of pick up or valid Army associated Military ID). 

  • Winners can only win once within Show Your Love For USAG Hawaii Photo Contest.   (Winners will be informed of any exclusions).  

  • Contest begins on Monday, 02 Feb, 2021, from 10 a.m. HST (Posting will go live at 10 a.m. HST). Comment post must be received no later than Sunday, 14 Feb, 2021, 5 p.m. HST.  

  • USAG Hawaii DFMWR Marketing Department will contact winners via Facebook Messenger no later than Monday, 15 Feb, 2021, noon HST, after the “Show Your Love for USAG Hawaii” Photo Contest concludes. 

  • The promotion is open only to USAG Hawaii Active Duty Soldiers and Family Members who are 18 years of age and older. This promotion is subject to all applicable laws and is void where prohibited by law. Employees of USAG Hawaii DFMWR NAF Support Management Branch or persons living in the same household are not eligible to win.
